The practice of yoga has always been a liberatory practice - a system of becoming free from our own stories, patterns and unnecessary suffering.
Foundational to Meghan’s teaching, is her deeply held belief that yoga offers invaluable tools to help us train the art of compassionate self inquiry, regulation and ultimately, liberation to varying degrees.
Meghan draws on modern science, ancient wisdom and her love of movement to create programming designed to meet the needs of her students.
Generally speaking, Vinyasa classes are breath centered, sequencing is anatomically informed and designed to cultivate a balance between strength and flexibility in the body. Philosophy and wisdom teachings are often implicit and subtle and there might be a hint of creative sequencing here and there.
Restorative classes are quiet, dark, still and well supported.
Meghan’s teaching has been shaped by many, but is most directly influenced by her primary teachers, Jason Crandell and Judith Hanson Lasater.
